GIRLS TIERED HOCKEY — Team Oregon
In Oregon, starting with the 2021-2022 season, all tiered hockey for girls will be organized at the affiliate level. This move creates a clear pathway for girls who want to compete at a higher level. In addition, this brings girls from across Oregon together as "Team Oregon" who will practice and play across the state, showcasing the sport for aspiring female athletes.

ABOUT THE 'TEAM OREGON' LOGO & COLORS
Creating the look for OSHA's statewide tiered teams meant utilizing colors and imagery that could pay homage to Oregon and bring all parts of the state together. With this in mind, we chose to adopt Oregon's official colors: Resolution Blue and Vivid Yellow as our base, matching the state flag. The three mountains represent the Cascade Mountain range that runs through Oregon from north to south. The "O" flows from the mountains with a swoosh representing the many rivers that connect our communities. In the sky, there are 33 stars to represent Oregon as the 33rd state of the union. And finally, the moon represents our independent nature and enduring spirit.
