Good golly Miss Molly, it is hard to believe we are screaming through the 19-20 Hockey Season. It seems like just last week we were hosting our first CEP session of the year. The USAH Coaches Education Program is going through some big changes starting with the 20-21 season. Part of these changes will include continuing education for coaches who have obtained their level 4 and level 5 certifications as well as new level 1 - 4 courses and potential skill-specific seminars. All very exciting stuff!
This weekend (1/31 - 2/2) is the OSHA Development Camp. This is an opportunity for 2007-2003 birth years to participate in an intense 3-day camp in Eugene, Oregon. We will have USAH National Office representatives as well as Pacific District and OSAH coaches and evaluators in attendance running on-ice sessions as well as off-ice workouts and classroom education sessions. While we do select our top players at camp to advance to the Western Regional Camp ('06s) and Pacific District Camps ('05-'03), the primary purpose is to expose players from all around Oregon to USAH education and development on and off the ice. If you are in the area, stop on by the Rink Exchange and check it out! Keep on developing your players! Andy Potter Oregon Coach-in-Chief
