Team Oregon
Beginning with the 2021–2022 season, the OSHA Board approved the organization of Girls Tier I and Tier II hockey and Youth Tier I hockey at the affiliate level to strengthen statewide access to the highest levels of competition. This structure creates a clear pathway for Oregon’s top players to train, compete, and showcase their abilities while representing their home state.
Through the Team Oregon program, athletes from across the state come together to compete at the highest levels of youth hockey available in Oregon. Teams represent the state at District and National competitions while building pride in competing alongside Oregon’s top players.
Team Oregon tryouts are held in late spring, with teams for the upcoming season announced each summer. Selected athletes earn the opportunity to represent Oregon and compete against elite competition.

About the Team Oregon Logo & Colors
Creating the look for OSHA's statewide tiered teams meant utilizing colors and imagery that could pay homage to Oregon and bring all parts of the state together. With this in mind, we chose to adopt Oregon's official colors: Resolution Blue and Vivid Yellow as the base to match the state flag. The three mountains represent the Cascade Mountain range that runs through Oregon from north to south. The "O" flows from the mountains with a swoosh representing the many rivers that connect our communities. In the sky, there are 33 stars to represent Oregon as the 33rd state of the union. And finally, the moon represents Oregon's independent nature and enduring spirit. |
