Team Oregon
Beginning with the 2021–2022 season, the OSHA Board approved the organization of Girls Tier I & Tier II hockey and Youth Tier I hockey at the affiliate level. This strategic decision established a clear pathway for Oregon’s elite players to compete at the highest levels while continuing to develop and represent their home state.
Athletes from across Oregon come together to compete as Team Oregon, representing our affiliate at the District and National levels. Teams for the upcoming season are announced each spring, with tryouts held shortly thereafter.

Spring Teams
As part of the off-season development pathway, OSHA fields competitive, high-level spring teams under the Team Oregon banner.
Age classifications may vary from year to year, but players seeking a strong spring extension of their hockey season are encouraged to consider participating in the Team Oregon Spring Program.

About the Team Oregon Logo & Colors
Creating the look for OSHA's statewide tiered teams meant utilizing colors and imagery that could pay homage to Oregon and bring all parts of the state together. With this in mind, we chose to adopt Oregon's official colors: Resolution Blue and Vivid Yellow as the base to match the state flag. The three mountains represent the Cascade Mountain range that runs through Oregon from north to south. The "O" flows from the mountains with a swoosh representing the many rivers that connect our communities. In the sky, there are 33 stars to represent Oregon as the 33rd state of the union. And finally, the moon represents Oregon's independent nature and enduring spirit. |
