Team Oregon
In Oregon, starting with the 2021-2022 season, the OSHA Board voted for Girls Tier I & II hockey and Youth Tier I hockey be organized at the affiliate level. This move created a clear pathway for our state's elite players who want to compete at a higher level while staying home in Oregon.
Players will come together from across the state and play as "Team Oregon" representing our affiliate at the District and National levels. Teams planned for the coming season are announced in the spring, with tryouts following shortly thereafter.
While the affiliate works toward having Tier I on the youth side, there may be the opportunity for players to participate on high-level spring teams under the Team Oregon name.Teams planned for the spring are announced by December 31st, with tryouts following shortly thereafter.
If you would like to be on our contact list for upcoming teams, please email us at [email protected].

About the Team Oregon Logo & Colors
Creating the look for OSHA's statewide tiered teams meant utilizing colors and imagery that could pay homage to Oregon and bring all parts of the state together. With this in mind, we chose to adopt Oregon's official colors: Resolution Blue and Vivid Yellow as the base to match the state flag. The three mountains represent the Cascade Mountain range that runs through Oregon from north to south. The "O" flows from the mountains with a swoosh representing the many rivers that connect our communities. In the sky, there are 33 stars to represent Oregon as the 33rd state of the union. And finally, the moon represents Oregon's independent nature and enduring spirit. |
